VCDM 475 Weekly Production Report 8 - Future Plans for Short Film

One Minute of Your Time is a film that I feel very proud to have been able to create. It truly shows the progress I have not only as a writer but as a filmmaker, videographer, and creator overall. Here are some of the goals I have for the remaining of my film for the remainder of the year: -Get my film approved to be entered into the Fall Senior Thesis Exhibition -Prepare for its official release -Submit the film into 2026 Film Festivals -Begin writing the short novel version of the film. -Publish the book in 2026. -Begin writing the full featured version of the film before 2025 is over. -Shoot the full featured film by 2027 I will add more to this list but for now I want to focus on creating a solid roadmap for myself. VCDM 475 Weekly Production Report 1 - Summer Recap

We are nearing the finish line! As I write, I am preparing to undergo the last steps for my degree in preparation for my graduation. It has been a long tumultuous road with lots of setbacks but we are finally nearing the end! I feel grateful to The Most High for everything I've been blessed with through this journey and I look forward to what lies ahead in the near future. During this summer, I was given a task to complete my senior film in preparation for the upcoming Fall senior thesis exhibition. It has taken a considerable amount of time to prepare since I had first initially wrote the script not to mention changes made to the story since then. Some of the setbacks I had at first was having to recast all of my actors while filming. Thankfully I received some great resources from my Department of Fine & Performing Arts (DFPA) and peers who was able to make the changes needed to finish the project. VISUAL COMMUNICATIONS 340 Blog Entry 1: Editorial Design Work in Progress Check-In

Editorial Design: Progress Check-In For this assignment, we were tasked to create a magazine spread advertising marathon runners. The text and photos were pre-selected and we had the freedom to design our editorials however we wanted. For mine I definitely went with the "less is more" approach and kept the layout to a color palette that reflected the same color scheme as the front cover. I am currently making the edits on this design right now based off the critique that I received before from my peers. One of them in particular really didn't care for my logo covering the front of my runner by I won't change it, I will just lower the opacity of the image so the font pops better in the front. I don't believe it visually distracting either and believe it fits the artistic direction I am going for.
