We also learned this program is hosted by the The National Association of Black Owned Broadcasts, who provides advocacy resources, ad sales training, station acquisition, and federal broadcast regulation. After talking about the process for applying to the program, we also was shared a video that feature two BSU alumni who participated and completed the program. I found seeing fellow students achieve great careers in this program extremely great and motivating towards my goals to establish connections such as the likes of this program. Mr. Myers was a great spokesperson who presented a bargain hard to turn down for students that were interested in joining including myself. After listening to him, I definitely felt like that program is worth pursing especially since it requires upon completion that you receives a minimal of three job offers. The program starting on June 3rd and concludes on the 13th, perhaps I will sign up for it after all in hopes of building more potential job opportunities upon graduation. That said, this is one of many opportunities that have or will continue to be found in my stay here at BSU.
What do you guys think of this post? Are there anyone who might be interested in a program like this? Please do comment and let me know, I'll be sure to send you the information!
Cheers!
