When considering how I should incorporate lighting in my film, one of the questions I first asked was how I can further enhance my characters and their interactions throughout the film. Since this story seeks to focus largely on the character's interactions, I found it essential to research how to use various lighting setups to establish the proper mood and atmosphere to enhance their scenes. Below are some videos I've been watching to further educate myself on establishing lighting settings. I've even dove deeper and began to look into what type of lights are needed for these shots. What I've learned from these videos are how the use of ambient lighting, aperture settings, and field of depth can really enhance your shots and help create some really intense settings for characters. Feel free to have a look at some of the videos I've been watching; if you have any you'd also recommend, I'd greatly appreciate you're own inputs.
