Here's my current progress so far:
As of now I have not been able to find any internships yet.
Some of my challenges include: - Work and class schedule
- Course workload
- Limited transportation options
- Time allocation for on-going film projects
- Work-life balance
- Task prioritization and management
So far, I've been able to manage these tasks without one, but I am concerned about how much time and effort will be required of me once I do enter my internship. I cannot commit a large amount of time especially when I have many things to attend to on my plate. Ultimately, I just want to avoid getting overwhelmed and risk getting behind on my classwork and work responsibilities. Ideally, I would probably work best with something virtual right now so that's what I am primarily seeking. I could possibly do in-person work on Mondays and the weekends but I would need to have a set work flow schedule created in order to make it work.
-Until then, I will keep all of these factors in mind before accepting an internship.
