On February 19th, 2025, I had the pleasure of attending Bowie State University's Central Maryland HBCU Climate Career Expo held in our student center ballroom.
Hosted by Bowie State University in collaboration with Morgan State University and Coppin State University, this event allowed students to connect with over 30 employers from the government and non-profit sectors looking to discuss careers in sustainability and environmental literacy.

During my visit, I made sure to visit all the booths and search for internships related to my field of Digital Cinema & Time-Based Media. However, I found that a lot of the jobs were interested in majors related to those fields. I didn't let this stop me ofcourse, and still found an interesting lead with a company seeking students related to my field. I will provide more details in my following post, until then, look forward to it.
